Peter Mazalon was appointed CEO in June 2015
Peter has over 25 years of international business experience in senior business roles across both global corporations and SMEs, Mazalon brings an established track-record of working within the lighting industry around the globe in a multitude of roles.

Peter started his lighting career with Thorn lighting where he held senior positions in Sales and Marketing and was responsible for winning the multi-million dollar airfield and general lighting systems for the new Hong Kong airport. Subsequently, he joined Sylvania Lighting International where he spent 14 years in a variety of senior roles and on the main board responsible for the luminaire businesses.

In 2010 Peter acquired Channel Safety Systems Group which was transformed into a broader market player. The business within 4 years became a leading  player in the LED emergency lighting space in the UK Electrical Distribution market. The business increased its EBITDA annually which was more than trebled over a four year period. The business was recently successfully sold to a trade buyer.


Robert Sweet was appointed CFO in November 2014
Robert was most recently CFO for a UK based plasma lighting company. Before this he was European Divisional CEO for Technicolor, a global media services group, with responsibility for their manufacturing & distribution locations across Europe. Robert originally joined this group as International CFO  responsible for European & Asian operations. Before joining the global media services group he was Head of Internal Audit for Carlton Communications PLC.

Robert qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA) with PwC and holds BA Hons in Economics from Manchester University. In addition to his role as CFO, Robert is also responsible for the Operations, IT, HR, Legal & Administration functions at Nualight. 

DAVID DAWKINS - Senior VP – Sales and Marketing

Dawkins will drive ongoing global expansion at the specialist LED lighting technology company through the sales and marketing functions.
His focus will be to accelerate Nualight’s growth in the retail sector as a full store specialist, whilst also overseeing the next phase of development by defining go-to-market strategies in new channels with new product solutions. With over 20 years’ experience in the lighting sector, Dawkins has a track record of delivering rapid revenue growth by channel / sector management and innovative product design.

With a formal education in electrical engineering, he moved into sales and marketing before holding senior and board positions at Philips, Cooper Industries and Sylvania culminating in him leading the MBO of JCC lighting in 2008.
Having developed a number of award winning products and the holder of several patents, Dawkins has developed a track-record of pushing the boundaries of lighting technology to give elegant but also efficient solutions to the end client.

TOM FANNON - Operations

Tom is responsible for all Global Operations, Supply Chain and Quality.
Fannon has over 20 years of experience with Emerson Electric, where he held key management positions in both Ireland and the USA as Plant Manager and as Division Director of Value Chain Strategy and Support.  He has also used this experience to provide Management Consulting Services with Fannon Enterprises and with The Leading Edge Group, transforming organisations through the use of World Class techniques at both the strategic and operational levels within a variety of multi-national industries in Europe and USA.  Fannon earned a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and has completed the Emerson Electric Lean Champion’s program.

ANDREW CRONIN - Product & Solutions Management

Andrew is responsible for product & solutions management at Nualight.
Cronin brings a core vision of delivering truly remarkable products and intelligent lighting solutions to our customers. Working closely with Product Development, Sales and Marketing along with our strategic partners, he ensures that we identify and deliver differentiation. Cronin is aided by a team of lighting solution specialists who help champion excellence in lighting design and help drive new product development roadmap based on future market trends.

Cronin joined the Nualight Group in 2008 as a lighting applications specialist and subsequently held Sales and Operational roles. Over the last number of years he has been involved in advocating the energy and merchandising benefits of LED technology for major supermarket chains across Europe and North America. Cronin has an MSc in Experimental Physics/Lasers and has over 12 years of experience in the LED industry.

PAM CHAHAL-HARRIS - Marketing & Communication

Pam is responsible for Global Marketing and Communication
Pam is a marketing professional with a wealth of lighting industry and international experience. Pam started her career with Thorn Lighting in International Sales, where she worked with the company’s distributors and agents to market the brand in the MEIA, Southern Europe and Russian regions. From there, Pam took on various senior central marketing roles within the Zumtobel group based in both in the United Kingdom and abroad, leading on coordinated product launches, campaigns, strategic business improvement projects, the introduction of new marketing practices and building marketing competence and teams within the organisation.

Pam has a BSc (Hons) Marketing and is an active member of CIM, with a track record of leading large global strategic projects and delivering best practice marketing campaigns, Pam’s focus at Nualight is to lead the positioning and communication of the Nualight brand globally through the full use of available marketing channels.
