Dr. Liam Kelly (CEO)
Dr. Liam Kelly founded Nualight in 2004. His previous commercial LED activities include the establishment of CorkOpt Ltd. in 1994, to develop and manufacture LED-based luminaires for the machine vision industry. CorkOpt was acquired by USA-based StockerYale Inc. in 2000 and Liam continued as Managing Director until 2003. He was also a founder-director of Millimetre Wave Technology Ltd., and of Farran Technology Ltd, an imaging and communications systems manufacturer, until its acquisition by the Smiths Group plc in 2005.
Prior to his commercial interests, Liam spent twenty years in various senior roles in University College Cork including Associate Professor of Microelectronics. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California and is a founding director of Optronics-Ireland and the Irish National Microelectronic Research Centre.

Dr. Berry Kock (CTO)
Dr. Berry Kock comes to Nualight from a distinguished career in Philips. He has a Ph.D. In Physical Chemistry/Materials Science and spent his first professional years in that department of Philips before becoming involved as a key executive in the start up of Lumileds. He then moved to Philip's Lighting in 2001 where he led the Philips CFL developments, including building new R&D facilities and overseeing production in China, where he spent some years. Since 2007 he has been in charge of Philips Lightlabs, a 250 person internationally-staffed innovation facility concentrating on LEDification (transitioning conventional lighting to LED lighting sources), Digitalization (adding intelligence to lighting fixtures and integrating this with control systems) and Application Know-How (necessary to steer the previous two efforts). As Nualight Group CTO, aided by Vincent Guenebaut and Gerard Kroone, Berry will be responsible for guiding our strategy and operations with respect to technical innovation, product and platform development, and product delivery.

Paul Kelly (Market Development)
Paul is a seasoned market development specialist who joined Nualight in late 2007 to lead its new phase of growth. He has held multiple roles within the company and is now responsible for driving business development activities, emerging sectors and private label opportunities. Paul has a proven track record in developing successful sales & marketing strategies for accelerated growth companies in the technology, property and consumer electronics sectors.

Chris Russell (Sales)
Chris has an excellent track record building significant sales growth for emerging consumer technologies in Europe, US and Asia. He has held a number of key positions in successful start up companies including Parthus Technologies (CEVA:NASDAQ) where he was Director of Worldwide Business Development. Chris was VP Sales and Marketing at OMI and was a key player in the successful sale of the company to KLA-Tencor (KLAT:NASDAQ) in 2007.
Chris has a degree in  Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin and joined the Nualight Executive Team to head up the worldwide sales team with a specific focus on building relationships directly with food retailers and expanding the OEM channels.
 
John Crowley (Operations)
John Crowley is responsible for all Global Operations, Supply Chain and Quality. Prior to joining Nualight John has over 15 years senior experience as Vice President or Senior Director in Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement for world-class organisations such as Johnson Controls, R&R Donnelly, Flextronics and Kostal. John holds a B.Sc (Econ) and Pg.Dip in Financial Economics from LSE as well as professional certification in Supply Chain, Quality and Lean.

Alexander Hanrath (Corporate Development and Finance)
Alexander is responsible for Nualight’s corporate strategic development, M&A activity and finance. He has 15 years of experience in private equity, M&A and corporate finance. During the past seven years he has been active in the “clean technology” sector, with considerable time active in the LED lighting and solar space among others. Prior to joining Nualight, Alexander was part of the Climate Change Capital Private Equity team, a leading clean tech expansion capital investor. Alexander is a Dutch national and has worked and lived in Latin America, Asia and Europe. He has an MSc in Environmental Technology and also an MSc in Financial Economics.

Vincent Guénebaut (Product Development)
Vincent has a proven track record managing R&D and engineering departments in start-up environments having worked as Vision Algorithm Project Manager at Machine Vision Technology, Dublin (Sold to Agilent Technologies in 2000), and also as Vice-President for Engineering in Optical Metrology Innovations, Cork (sold to KLA-Tencor in 2007). Vincent has a strong understanding of high technology product development with a focus on design, innovation and quality excellence. Vincent holds a Ph.D. from the EMBL (Heidelberg, Germany) and two postdoctoral experiences on Scanning Tunnelling imaging and electron tomography.

Siobhan O'Dwyer (Marketing and Product Management)
Siobhan O'Dwyer is responsible for strategic marketing, corporate branding, partner marketing programmes and product management. A seasoned strategic marketeer, Siobhan has a specialist competence in building high-growth global brands in the technology, science and cleantech sectors. Through product management, she brings a market-driven focus to Nualight's portfolio of LED lighting solutions.
