- November 2006 - UL Certification Success!
NuaLight are delighted to announce our success in gaining the internationally recognised UL Certification for our CryoLED1 product range. The certification follows and intensive period of hard work and assessments by UL. - August 2006 - New Patent Granted to NuaLight
NuaLight are pleased to announce a Grant of Patent for our display cabinet lighting. The patent is granted by the Irish Patent Office; patent number S84292, published on 23rd August 2006.
- July 2006 - Eamonn Quinn Accepts Appointment to NuaLight Board of Directors.
NuaLight are pleased to announce the appointment of Eamonn Quinn as a Non-Executive Director. Mr Quinn, former Deputy Chairman of SuperQuinn, has been involved with NuaLight from early on and this appointment has confirmed his confidence in the future of NuaLight and its products.
Speaking of his appointment, Mr Quinn said "I am looking forward to working with NuaLight on the exciting venture in developing the future of lighting technology."
- May 2006 - Successful Show Season for NuaLight!
NuaLight's hectic show season this year has been a huge success. Attendances at both Lightfair International in Las Vegas and FMI Show in Chicago were record breaking, and our stand was busy from morning to evening with interest from top industry executives! NuaLight are planning out attendances at the events next year again - so make sure you book your slot and come visit us at Lightfair in New York, and FMI in Chicago. NuaLight thanks its visitors for their continued support!
- Jan 2006 - New Regional Sales Manager
NuaLight is delighted to announce the addition of Heinz Tobler to our sales team. Heinz hails from Switzerland, has degrees in both Engineering and Sales Management, and 25 years experience within the industry.
- Dec 2005 - New Manufacturing Premises
NuaLight moved into its new manufacturing facility in December 2005. The new premises, which are located at Airport East Business Park, at Cork International Airport in Ireland, will more than double the manufacturing area, and provide enhanced equipment and facilities.
- Oct 2005 - New Director
NuaLight is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ray Naughton as a non-executive director. Ray is the former CEO of Siemens Nixdorf (Irl) and brings a wealth of valuable experience to to the board.
- Oct 2005 - Funding Raised
In October, NuaLight successfully concluded its first external funding round, with the main investors being the Irish government agency Enterprise Ireland, and a private venture capital company 4LV.
- April 2005 - Lightfair Award
NuaLight received the 'Best of Category' award for our CryoLED Display Case illumination in the New Product Showcase at Lightfair International in New York.
